Our speaker on Friday will be Phil Unitt, of the SD Natural History Museum’s department of ornithology to talk to us about the changing bird populations of San Diego. Please plan to join us.
Our plant sales chair, Judy Froning, would like to remind everyone to bring cuttings to exchange/share so that we all can begin propagating them for our June plant sale. Also, please bring spare or orphan pots (with a hole in the bottom, please) if you do not plan to propagate. There will be a sign-up sheet for volunteers to visit the plant cart at the lagoon once a week and for propagators and transporters of plants for the plant sale. I urge everyone to sign up as it is a super way to meet other members while also supporting the club’s scholarship efforts. If you have any questions about the plant sale or the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation plant cart, please email Judy (firstname.lastname@example.org)
